Phase 4 will cover:
  • The history of the Midline, including the embryological Midline, that precedes the notochordal midline, segmentation and gravitational midline
  • Midline as a therapeutic force and its relationship to the soma
  • Perceptual studies, the Midline 'centers us' and spatially organises growth and development
  • The Reciprocal Tension of the Potency (RTP)
  • Treatment through pregnancy and post partum stages-the pre, post and peri-natal maternal pelvis
  • The function of the neuro-immuno-endocrine system
  • Potency and Ignition, the power for change and spatial organisation

    The aim: Introduce further principles of treatment and practical skills of working with Midline function,
    to be safe when working with:
    1. patients presenting with an osteoarthritic knee
    2. postural midline integration throughout a patient's perinatal stages
    3. enhancing postural adaptive capabilities to restore somatic function of sacrum, C7, scapula and occiput /atlas
    4. a patient in allostatic overload from post febrile state
    5. the objective to optimize the patient's adaptive potential through restoration of structural integrity and metabolic function

    Eligibility:
    Osteopaths with prior training in Phase 1-3 Biodynamics

    Course Fee: AU$1,290 (inc. GST)
    Deposit: AU$290 (inc. GST)


    Refund policy: Cancellations received 28 days before the start of the course will receive a full refund.

    The deposit will be retained and the balance returned if a cancellation is made less than 28 days before a course.

    Meals: Refreshements and lunches will be provided each day with the course

    CPD:

     
    Providing 20 hours of Continuing Professional Development (20 hours CPD)

    20 hours postgraduate education (Category 1) approved with the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand.
     

    A certificate of 20 hours CPD will be provided at the end of the course.
    This can then be presented, as part of your personal CPD portfolio, towards the OBA requirements of 25 annual hours of self directed CPD.
    The OBA annual 25 CPD hour requirement also includes 4 hours of mandatory topics approved by the Board.

    Transport:
    The closest airport to  Noosa is  Maroochydore, also called Sunshine Coast 30 min drive from Noosa.
    Brisbane airport offers a greater choice of flight and times and is 2.5 hours drive away.

    Transfers can be booked from the airport to Noosa Springs through Sunair
